Ad analysis for agencies

Turn any Meta or TikTok ad into a structured creative diagnostic your team can brief against and your clients can read — in under two minutes per ad.

The problem: every client wants a competitive teardown, and it takes all afternoon

Competitive creative audits are one of the highest-value things an agency can deliver. They're also one of the most time-consuming to produce. A thorough read of five competitor ads — hook archetype, awareness stage, persuasion structure, offer math, A/B hypotheses — takes a senior strategist three to four hours if they're doing it right. Most agencies either charge for the hours and erode their margin, or skip the rigor and deliver a slide with screenshots and impressionistic commentary.

The result is the same either way: the client's creative team gets a brief that says "make something like this Olipop ad" without knowing which layer of the Olipop ad to actually replicate. The creative comes back generic. The test tanks. The client wonders what they're paying for.

The gap isn't talent. Agency creative strategists who know these frameworks — Schwartz's awareness stages, the Cialdini lever stack, Hormozi's value equation — can read an ad and produce an actionable brief fast. The gap is time. At five to ten client accounts, running that depth of read manually on every competitive ad your team pulls is the bottleneck between a decent creative strategy practice and a great one.

How AdRevila fits your workflow

Paste a Meta or TikTok Ad Library URL. AdRevila passes it to a single Gemini model via fal.ai, which watches the full video in one call. No transcript scraping, no frame sampling — the full video with audio and visual context, because hook archetypes require both to read correctly. A Pattern Interrupt is a visual break against feed norms; a Direct Address lives in the second-person framing plus the qualifier. You need the video to see either.

The structured report comes back in 60–120 seconds. Every section maps to the layer a senior strategist would read: hook archetype, Schwartz awareness stage, body diagnosis against AIDA and PAS, Cialdini levers tagged with the moment each fires, Hormozi value equation scored lever by lever, CTA commitment level, and two to four A/B hypotheses the ad suggests.

Output options are designed for agency workflows: JSON for internal dashboards, Markdown for Notion or Slack, PDF for client delivery, public share link for async review. You run the analysis once; the deliverable is already done.

What you get back

Hook archetype. The hook is classified as one of five types: Pattern Interrupt, Bold Statement, Question, Direct Address, or Proof-First. The report names which archetype is present and whether it earns the next five seconds. This is the vocabulary your creative brief needs — not "the hook is strong," but "this is a Bold Statement hook targeting Solution-Aware traffic, and here's the specific claim doing the work."

Schwartz stage. The ad is placed on the five-stage awareness ladder (Unaware through Most-Aware) based on what the opening frame assumes the viewer already knows. Stage diagnosis is the single most useful input for a creative brief. Stage-mismatched traffic is the most common reason a well-produced ad has a bad CVR, and it's the thing clients least understand when you hand them a report.

Body diagnosis. Copy framework (AIDA, PAS, BAB, or narrative) plus Cialdini levers — which ones fire and at which moment. Not every principle in the taxonomy, only the ones present in the ad. This section is where the brief-writing leverage lives: it tells you which persuasion moves your client's category can credibly fire and which ones belong to the competitor's specific brand equity.

Offer math. The Hormozi value equation scored per lever: Dream Outcome, Perceived Likelihood, Time Delay, Effort and Sacrifice. CTA commitment level. Ad-to-LP continuity check if the destination URL is visible. This section answers the question clients always ask: "why does their offer feel more compelling than ours" — with specific levers, not vibes.

Letter grade and A/B hypotheses. An A–F grade per the AdRevila rubric, plus two to four specific test variants the ad suggests. The hypotheses are framed as briefs: swap the hook archetype, raise the Dream Outcome resolution, lower the CTA commitment level for the cold traffic this ad is targeting. Your team can pull these directly into a creative sprint.

Client-ready briefs you can bill for

The deliverable problem at most agencies is the same: the analysis lives in a strategist's head or a messy Notion doc, and it doesn't survive the hand-off to creative or to the client.

AdRevila's PDF export and public share link are designed for that hand-off. The PDF is structured, not a screenshot deck. Every section has a score, a plain-language verdict, and a specific next action. Clients who don't know what Schwartz stages are still get a usable deliverable; strategists who do get the full framework vocabulary underneath.

The public share link means you can drop the report into a Slack channel or a client Notion workspace without a PDF export step. The client clicks through, reads the diagnostic, and sees the A/B hypotheses without needing an AdRevila account.

What you're selling is the strategic read. The report is the proof of work. At five to ten competitor ads per client per month, the time you recover goes directly into the brief quality — which is the part clients actually notice.

Frequently asked

Can I share reports directly with clients?
Yes. Every analysis can be exported as a PDF or a public share link. The share link is read-only and doesn't require the client to have an AdRevila account.
How does credit pricing work for teams?
You buy credit packs — one credit per analysis, no subscription required. One account can run analyses and share the outputs with anyone via the public share link or PDF export.
What ad formats are supported?
Video ads from Meta Ad Library and TikTok Ad Library. Paste the public URL and AdRevila pulls the video. Image-only creatives are not yet supported.
Does the report explain the frameworks or just score them?
Both. Each section gives a scored verdict and a plain-language explanation. Clients who don't know Schwartz or Hormozi still get a usable deliverable. Strategists who do get the full framework vocabulary.
